Arethusa tours - restricted access?

We're heading to Pompeii tomorrow and in one of the travel guides, it said Arethusa Tours offered access to some restricted rooms. Is this true? Are there restricted rooms and if so, are they only available via a guide? Recommendations? There will be four of us.

Well, if the rooms are restricted then it only makes sense that you need special permission to enter them. Why not contact the tour company to see what they offer?

There is no tours of any restricted areas any more. The only way to see closed areas is with specific tours such as those tailed for teachers and academics.

You'll just have to see what is open on the day to the general public.
