Travel to Puglia in August

We are travelling to Italy on the last week in August and the first week in September and thinking of going South to Puglia (Alberobello, Ostuni, etc). We are not going to the beach. Will it be too hot to sightsee? Has anyone been to Puglia in August? Would Le March be better (Urbino, Jesi, etc.)? Thanks in advance.

End of August - beginning of September may be hot and probably hotter in Puglia but manageable to sightsee unless you are used to a really cold climate.

I have been to Puglia in August but also to Sicily that is surely hotter, you should only adopt simple measures like wearing appropriate clothes, a hat, sunglasses and drink much water.

Le Marche are probably not as hot as Puglia but the two destinations are quiet different and one is not better then the other.
