Piccell Wireless SIM cards in Europe?

Hello, at the end of March we are going to Italy to meet our daughter who is studying in Rome. We will be traveling around Italy for 3 weeks then around Europe for 2 weeks after that. Our daughter signed up for Piccell before she left and has been using it without problems, but Im wondering if parents can get the service as well and if they have service in Europe? Can we just get a Piccell Italy SIM card and use it in our US phone? Will one SIM card work all over Europe?

Thanks for the help. Janice

Hi Janice. Shouldnt be a problem. Make sure your phone is unlocked or buy a cheap unlocked phone from Piccell or Amazon.com. If your daughter is using them to study abroad Im assuming they would give you their student rates which are highly advantageous over their traveler rates. From my experience they are very customer friendly and do anything possible to make sure you have a good experience abroad. Id suggest getting a separate SIM from Piccell for your travels in Europe as roaming with the Italian SIM might get expensive. They have a EuroSIM. You can order it here: www.piccellwireless.com/euroclub They also have data plans if you want to stay connected on email, facebook, twitter, etc during your travels.
