National Holidays in Italy

I plan to go to northern Italy from 14 April to 1 May. I see there are two national holidays in this period, on 25 April and on 1 May.

Do these two holidays mean restricted (or absent) public services, such as trains and buses and ways to get to airports?

If so, I may have to reorder the dates I travel to Italy.
