Las Fallas = Valenacia

Hi

I am thinking of visiting Valencia in March for Las Fallas and have a couple of questions.

Is Valencia a flat city has my travel partner has bad kneew?

Is it easy to visit the beach area?

As most of the hotels are booked up, looking to stop at the Hilton. Has anyone stopped here and if so what was it like?

Cheers

Valencia is flat.

The beach area is sort of undeveloped, compared to other Mediterranean resorts. I am sure you can take a bus to go there.

There is a Fallas museum, where they have preserved the best designs, in miniature of course.

Do not miss the City of Arts and Science.

I have not been to the Hilton, but I am sure it is okay.

Absolutely flat.

Yes it easy, apart of buses, there is also tram.

metrovalencia.com/metroval/…home.asp

apart of the stations "eugenia viñes", "les arenes" and "mediterrani" of Line4 and Line6, "neptu" of Line5 is also very convenient, between the beginning of the beach 'las arenas' and the america's cup port.

Hilton hotel is a new hotel that looks very good. Location is a bit out of the center which is good as it won't be as noisy as other areas.

There is a metro station near that you should use to get to the center.

Valencia is flat but watching fallas means a lot of walking.

look at this google map with some marked places of interest

Hilton is near the new stadium under construction, in front of the Congress palace. Best station to get to the center is Beniferri.

You could even walk to a main falla as Nou Campanar and L'antiga Campanar.

The Ninot museum that have been recommended to you, is close to CAC. But if you are already watching dozens of fallas it may be not as interesting.

From your hotel to the beach, use L4, from the center to the beach, use L5.
