Granny's tea-house

Can recommend this tea-room in the Old Town for a good cuppa. It's situated just off Walking Street, a very small, quaint place with home made sausage rolls, scones and lemon meringue pie just being made when we were there.

Wish the owner had been a bit more cheerful, maybe caught her on a bad day (but she does like to sing!). Lol

Posting the link for those who like their brew on holiday to be non alcoholic at times!

Polly "Granny" has been there since Benidorm was born! and offers the best brew and homebaked scones in town.

And in a proper teapot, not a metal one that runs all over the table when you try to pour! Hate them don't you! Lol

Further down at the bottom of Walking Street is the Milord's cafe attached to the hotel. Prime position at the end with seats outside.

Regrettably we had the worst service, most expensive tea and cakes and the dirtiest toilets I've seen yet in Benidorm in Milords. Not recommended at all, it was an unpleasant experience.

Glad it's a rarity, most places are good in Beni.

Indifferent service is pretty much the norm at Milords, but it's a great spot to sit outside and peoplewatch.
