"great sangria"? No, but it's available now in grocery stores, just like Kalimocho, cheap (green) red wine and coke.

I'd stick with sampling some of the world's best wines.

This is my recommendation

Be warned though, you´ll not want to stop at just the one jarra!

Enjoy.

Just curious, Jason, will they be serving sangria in November as the place you recommended?

I guess sangria will do is you have yet to aquire a taste for fine wine and spirits. We used to drink a lot of it (consumed) when I used to hang out in Torrimolinos, but that was ages ago.

I thought it was strictly a summer drink, I am hardly an expert in this regard.

Some places will serve it anytime of the year. It's a tourist thing, quite a bit more powerful than a mere glass of wine with dinner.

Holakjs, I'm quite sure that it's open all year round, though I don't frequent the centre too much these days myself.

The last time I went it wasn't too touristy, full of locals in fact.

Enjoy.
