Camino de Santiago

What is the best time of the year to do the walk? I am considering early May but am a little concermed that it may be too wet. Should this time be OK or is there a drier month?

Hi! March is a good month to to Camino, as is not so crowded as on June/July/August. However, springs are usually rainy in Galicia. Don't forget clothing for rain! Also try to avoid Semana Santa (early March): one of the most crowded holiday weeks of the year in Spain.

Semana Santa won't be early March -- Easter is on April 1 this year.

Yes, that's a well known albergue in Sarria. Also known by its galician name: "O Durmiñento".
