Melia Sitges

Yesterday the pool at the Melia Sitges was closed , they are working on the grass round the pool area . They have put out some sunbeds for guests to use but the area is small . We are only here for the weekend so not too bothered but I would be unhappy if I was staying for longer .

Re post 11 - Thank-you Benny...

I have found, the World over, in warmer climbs, warmer than London (although I have swum in the Serpentine on Christmas Day,) when Hotel Pools are unheated, a dip can still be efficacious and with regard to both Sitges and Barcelona, I have swum in the Mediterranean in January/February. The initial plunge is a cooling experience but once the body adjusts it is very pleasant.

If you'll forgive me Benny, the problem seems not to be lack of heat but lack of pool!
