All Saints day

I will be in Barcelona on All saints day(1st November), I understand that most of the shops will be closed. Is there some thing important I need to know about that day? Are there any special locations I should visit?

Thank you for your help.

Morior:

You could visit the Sagrada Familia Basilica. Read the top question about this sight and book ahead to avoid the long queues.

hi,

"all saints" is a family festivy...the main touristic places'll be open as a sunday ...there are not special events to see. Lots of peope go to the cementery to wear flowers for the death...the only suggestion: taste the special cakes of the festivity: "panallets"..you can find them in all the pastries....

All touristic places and restaurants will be opened. You can find shops closed and public transport will be slower than a normal.
