San Antonio Bay vs. Ibiza Town

We are three friends in our 30s visiting Ibiza for the first time. We love clubbing and intend to go clubbing most of the time we are there. We appreciate good food and drink, sunsets and beaches. We want to find somewhere to stay (apartment, villa or hotel) that will give us proximity to the best clubs, beaches or bars & restaurants. We appreciate that this is probably impossible and will be hiring a car to get around. Our thoughts are to stay close (ish) to the clubs but somewhere we can sleep when we need to (i.e. quiet-ish) and then drive about to beaches, bars & restaurants. Is it better to stay on the East or West coast? Aren't the sunsets better in San An?

Also, where are some great, children-free beaches with great bars, music & food? We are prepared to pay a little extra for a little luxury...

Please help!!

The Ibiza sunsets are best viewed on the west coast of the Island, you will not see them in Ibiza town only sunrises. Depending on what you are looking for sunsets are personal to people.

Some like to sit alone, with loved ones or in small groups on costlines and beaches that are quiet and secluded, while others like the buzz of big crowds and ambient music on the famous sunset strip in San An where you will find Cafe del Mar and Mambo.

I think you would rather prefer to stay in Ibiza and travel over to San An sunset strip for sunsets. Make sure you check out Hostal La Torre for spectacular sunsets in a simple atmosphere.

Also have a look at www.hotelesvive.com in Ibiza town, ideally located for all the clubs, suiting your agegroup and more luxurious than most.
