Can anyone tell me if you can fly direct from London to San Sebastian?

No, most fly into Bilbao and take the bus (like an airport shuttle really) as Bilbao is a major airport serviced by most airlines or partners. There is also an airport in Hondarribia which is closer but by the time you book the flight to there and connect... Bilbao and the shuttle (15ish Euros) are faster and easier booked.... and generally the best price.

So you can spend more on fine wine and pintxos in San Sebastian

Happy Planning

:)

**ps..love your pic... I have a great collection of happy feet photos from around the world as well ;)

Currently, the only airline serving the San Sebastian airport (Hondarribia) is Iberia, with connecting flights from Barcelona and Madrid. You can also fly into Biarritz from London, but the bus connection from Bilbao is more efficient and less confusing than trying to transfer from Biarritz to Donostia.

Hi MBA,

You can also fly to Biarritz airport in France. It's more or less 40km far from San sebastian but nearer than Bilbao. You have many companies with direct flights to Biarrtiz.

Best regards,
