I think your best way is to use the VALENZUELA bus from Prado de San Sebastian bus station in Seville to Algeciras bus station called San Bernardo. If you look at the timetable you can see a bus leaving Seville at 10.30 which arrives at San Bernardo bus station by 1pm.

Or you can take an earlier bus at 07.15 reaching Algeciras by 09.50.

Then you need to reach La Linea de la Concepcion which is the Spanish border town next to Gibraltar. You can take a local bus round the Bay which takes approx 35 minutes and more details on here

and map

Pay the driver and it usually leaves from the bay nearest the exit/entrance to the station at San Bernardo.

At La Linea bus station it is a few minutes walk to the border. Remember to take passport.

Retrace your steps for return.

An alternative bus is the TG COMES bus and times on here

It goes a different route and stops at towns / places mentioned.

If you have any further Qs then plse ask.

I would recommend Ronda instead of Gibraltar. Hemingway said Ronda was the most romantic town in Spain.
