Sevilla FC tickets

I am trying to buy tickets for the Sevilla v Valencia game on Sunday 16th February but can't find them on the official club site. Will they become available online before the game or will we be able to buy them on the day? We don't arrive until the night before so won't be able to get them any earlier than the morning of the game. Any advice will be much appreciated.

Seriously. I was only joking! I don't think he is stupid enough to openly support the opposition but thanks for the warning!

The advice is really good so thansk to all contributors.

We're planning on going to the Seville vs Villareal game on 04/05/14.

We won't be arriving in town until late the night before or early the next day but will go straight up to the stadium and try and get tickets on the sunday morning.

What are the chances of this game selling out?

I think there are two more games after it. We'd much rather go in the home end but could go in the away end if needs be.

Also, does anyone have any tips on the best way to get to seville from malaga?

We don't arrive into malaga until 9pm on the saturday so im guessing we'd need to travel the following morning.

According to google maps its a 2 hour journry - any recommended bus companies?

Many thanks

"We're planning on going to the Seville vs Villareal game on 04/05/14."

It might not be on that date. Often the actual date and time of the game is not decided by the TV companies until about 10 days ahead. Some games don't kickoff until 10pm.

"does anyone have any tips on the best way to get to seville from malaga?"

There are trains - www.renfe.com and coaches - www.movelia.es and you can of course drive.

Movelia.es is a national coach website. It tells you who runs the coaches.

What is 'best' depends on when and how much you are happy to pay. You are correct that with an arrival at Malaga airport at 9pm you won't be able to travel to Seville that night, unless you drive.

The last coach is at 2030hrs (from the city) and the last train at 2015. Coaches take about 3 hours, the fastest trains 1hr 55 minutes.

Thanks for all the great advice! We got our tickets on Sunday morning without any problems. Walked to the stadium nice and early and had a couple of beers in a bar - not many supporters around. When we came out - culture shock! The pavements were lined with Sevilla fans drinking from bottles bought at the numerous supermarkets along the street - beer, spirits the lot!!! There was only one thing to do - go back in the bar and buy 4 large bottles and back onto the street to join the party! Everyone was in good spirits (pun definitely intended) and no sign of any trouble. When we got inside the most difficult thing was finding our seats - a distinct lack of stewards. We must have looked hilarious going up and down, round and round trying to locate our seats. Several people tried to help but to no avail. We walked past Alec Stewart (of cricketing fame) at least twice until we finally gave in and asked for his help. 'Just sit anywhere' was his advice so we did because the match was kicking off. Luckily nobody came and asked us to move. We then watched two other women wearing English Polo club tracksuits doing exactly the same for about 10 minutes. Hope they eventually found their seats! The atmosphere was great, especially from the fans standing behind the goal. Wish I could say the game deserved their great support but it was a very boring 0-0 draw. The most exciting part was trying to eat a bag of sunflower seeds Spanish style! I certainly wouldn't like to be the stadium cleaners trying to sweep up all the empty shells!!!
