I'm off for three and a half months in Asia shortly and have insured with Staysure.

They insure the over 50's.

Saga offer both long stay insurance or an annual policy which will cover you for up to 90 days per trip

Thank you for your reply; I have had a quote from Saga, single trip of 56 days premium is £1012!

Hi there

You may get more responses if you post on the Holiday Travel Forum here: tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowForum-g1-i12334-Holida… as this Forum is specifically for holiday advice for Torremolinos.

Hope that helps

Simples, www.comparethemarket.com . My neighbour was quoted over £1200 by Saga for 3months motorhome cover through France into Spain. £288 via Compare the Market with Holiday Extras being the provider. Yes, we have checked the cover levels, but stripped out Cancellation cover, delayed departure and baggage cover as they werent needed on the trip.

You will need excellant health to get good rates. Since my health problems cant get more then 30 days away unless I pay mickey mouse money. Cheaper for me to fly back every month then pay the premiums for extra stay.

Wow !

That's extraordinary isn't it. So much for Saga catering to the over 50's.
