Thanks Benny ! I have been down to the end of the stone causeway to the Castillo last summer when it had a "soft" opening at the time of the annual air display and could walk all around the old castle walls with some nice views.

The entrance to the causeway is on the southern end of La Caleta beach. It was a really nice walk (promenade) when it was opened briefly and now that they have opened the exhibition space it makes for a pleasant extra attraction.

About 2/3 rds along the causeway is passage for small boats that wish to travel from La Caleta bay into the waters opposite Playa Victoria. This place is popular with youngsters who jump or dive into the deeper water !
