Bus Questions --Cordoba to Cadiz

I would like to travel on 20 June from Cordoba to Cadiz. I see that Socibus has several buses per day that travel this route. Please confirm where the bus stations for Socibus are located in Cordoba (near RENFE close to Calle Via Augusta ?) and Cadiz (near RENFE at Plaza de Sevilla ?)

Bus ride is 3-1/4 hr. Can also go by more expensive RENFE but need to change in Seville -- correct? Not much of an overall time savings.by train, so might as well travel by less expensive bus.

Having trouble with Socibus website for advance reservations. Final webpage of reservation indicates that they only take Visa payment using cards from Santander or ServiRed banks. Could this really be correct?

For travel route and date indicated is it safe to purchase tickets a day in advance at the bus station in Cordoba, or is there a risk of a full bus?

There are a seven Media Distancia trains running on that day which start at Jaen or Cordoba itself and finish at Cadiz and I prefer to use this type of transport for this journey. They pass through Seville's stations at Santa Justa and San Bernardo, and stop at places like Jerez, El Puerto de Santa Maria and San Fernando. Cost of a single is €30 and you can buy when in Cordoba as have never seen a PROMO fare on this run. if you decide to bus then also buy when in Cordoba and bus station is next to the train station. So you have options. The train takes about 3 1/4 hours as well.

Gerry:

The train is much more comfortable than the bus.
