There are two monuments that he can visit: the Mezquita and Medina Azahara. Read the top questions about these sights on the right panel.

Hi Mirell!

All the places can be easily visited on your own. So, IMO, no need of a guided tour.

Other interesting Andalusi heritage places are:

Hi all,

Great tips there. I will be visiting those places in May. Any good hotel in Cordoba and Granada to suggest. There is no train from Cordoba to Madrid right.

Yus_33,

There are 25 departures of the high speed train, AVE, from Cordoba to Madrid. If you buy in advance online, the fare can be as low as 35 euros. For May departures, check the Renfe website in March.

Read the Top Question on Buying Renfe Tickets in Advance. It's not an easy website to use and this article will help you.

No train from Cordoba to Madrid? Really? It has always been one (since 19th century, perhaps) And, in fact, it was the very first high speed connection in Spain, working from 1992.

Please, do vist the Renfe website as BennyMalaga and Gigis_mum have written before. You won't regret it
