WWII sites between Cologne and Reims

We will be traveling from Cologne to Reims in July and wondering about WWII sites that are convenient on the way or close by?

Will you have a car? Then check out Hadamar. It's a bit of a detour, but might be worth seeing. Hadamar was part of the T4-Aktion, that is, the murder of handicapped people by the Nazis.

In Cologne, there is the El-De-Haus, which was the Gestapo prison.
