Train travel - Berlin to Nuremberg

Hello, we are travelling by train from Berlin to Nuremberg in January, and I noted online that there are two main routes you can take, either via Hildesheim, Gottingen and Fulda and what seems like a more direct route through Leipzig and Halle. Both trips appear to take approximately the same time, but I am wondering if one is more scenic and interesting than the other.

I would appreciate your advice!

For Nuremburg to Munich, if you don't mind taking a slow train, you can use the Bayern Ticket - which is a daypass good on all regional trains in Bavaria - I think it is about 25 euro for 2 people now. Prices are on dbahn web site.

Liverpool, England.

Thank you. I booked the tickets from Berlin to Nuremberg for one hundred and nine euros.

I also booked the journey from Nuremberg to Munich for Just over forty euros.

I have reserved our seats for the journey to munich. We are staying in Berlin for two days, Nuremberg for two days, and in Munich for three days before flying home to liverpool. I've been to Berlin before, on three occasions and enjoyed it very much.

Thank you once again for your help.
