Berlin + 66-Seen-Wanderung

I’ll be in Berlin from May 27 to June 2 and have just booked a hotel (http://www.hotel-abendstern.de/). I hope it's a good choice.

In addition to doing the regular things tourists do I'd like to walk two to four parts (depends mostly on the weather) of the 66-Seen-Wanderung (reiseland-brandenburg.de/pages/reisethemen_s…). Has any of you ever done that? Which parts would you recommend? Or are there any other hiking/walking routes that are better/more interesting?

I just found these sites with some running/walking routes:

…berlin.de/umwelt/…index.shtml

…berlin.de/bauen/wanderungen/index_en.shtml

…berlin.de/forsten/waldspaziergang/

Since these are actually in Berlin I think I'm going to skip the 66-Seen-Wanderung and do some of these instead. Any favourites you'd recommend?

Hi,

I'd say that the best routes for running are Volkspark Friedrichshain and of course the Tiergarten route.
