Which airport? Berlin has two: Tegel in the west, Schönefeld southeast of the city. The latter has trains to central Berlin, Tegel is well connected through bus lines.

Tegel you can take the bus to get into the city centre or take the bus to the S-bahn or U-bahn depending on where your hotel is. Schonefeld has trains that go directly to the city.

If you'd like to tell us which hotel you're staying at, and which airport you're arriving at, you will get a better idea of how long your trip will take you.

A nice Mercedes S class from mydriver.com makes for excellent transport, I use them a lot. Though they will need to know your arrival airport and hotel as well and cost a little more than a bus :)
