Rock/indie club nights in Berlin?

Rock/indie club nights in Berlin?

Can anyone suggest ANY rock and/or indie club nights in Berlin? I'm looking for anything that runs on May 26/27/28/29. I've spent ages searching but I really can't seem to find anything. It doesn't even have to be a proper nightclub - a bar playing the right kind of music will be fine as long as there's dancing!

I'm looking for anything along any of these lines, if this helps:

This is a pretty complete listing of club nights, links will give you the adress.

Places like Duncker Club or Privatclub may fit the bill, depending on the night.

I'd already checked out Duncker Club and Privatclub, unfortunately neither have anything along those lines on those dates but thanks anyway. I hadn't seen the listings site though - nothing coming up at the moment but I'll bookmark it and keep looking.

There's Kiss All Hipsters at the Lido on May 27th which is the closest thing I've found so far - though it's indie/dance/pop rather than more straight-up indie/rock - guess the clue's in the name, it's a bit hipster-y and aimed at 'the kids' rather than a nostalgic thirty-something ;) There's also a rock night called Paranoid at the Lido which would be great if it wasn't on the wrong date!

Duncker Club does Rock/Indie nights on Fridays and Saturdays: http://www.dunckerclub.de/start.html

I was about to suggest the Last Cathedral too but just found out that it closed earlier this month. :-(

Also Sage Club might do the trick? http://www.sage-club.de/wp/

(disclaimer, I've not been to either of these myself but they came up when I was looking for gothic/industrial clubs in Berlin for myself)

I just discovered that Rosi's has indie nights too. There is no program for May yet, but you might want to keep your eyes open: http://www.rosis-berlin.de/programm/programm.htm

I went to an indie night at Rosi's a few weeks ago, I think they are on every Thursday. It wasn't the best I've ever been to but some of the music was pretty decent, and Rosi's itself is a really good place with loads of rooms, a good outdoor space, cheap beer and an "indie feel".

I wasn't aware The Last Cathedral had closed. Thanks for the heads up. I'll pass the news to my son who will be devistated, as it was a regular haunt of his when over. I'll break it to him gently. :)

I know, it was a bit of a shock, have had many a memorable evening at the Last Cathedral!

12 Grad Aetherloge is rather cool though, near Frankfurter Tor and, steampunk themed rather than gothic, but seems to be the alternative bar of choice now as an alternative to the various rock bars.
