Buying a beer keg

Would very much appreciate some help with buying a small keg or two of locally-brewed beer.

We stayed in Burghotel Colmberg a year and a half ago and they had excellent beer, brewed locally. We didn't have time to go exploring, but as we will be in Rothenburg for a few days in September, perhaps someone could point us in a direction of a local brewery where we could buy some of the awesome beer to take home with us.

We will be travelling by car, so luggage is not a problem.

What kind of keg do you mean? One of those 5 liters ones that supermarkets sell? Or a 50 liter one?

Why not buy bottles or cans?

I mean those little metal barrels, I think they come in 5 and 10 liters.

We want kegs because we're on a two-week road trip where Rothenburg is the second stop and it seems impractical to drive around with 20 bottles of beer in the trunk for 10 days. :)
