to Stay in Fussen for one night

Hi, would like to stay in Fussen for 1 night. However, I have problem to arrange for the trip before & after

1. Munich Flughafen - is there any train to go to Fussen directly ?

2. we are going to Innsbruck later. It seems to be 2/3 changes. Is there any easier way ?

1. No. Munich Airport is only served by S-Bahn (suburban) trains. You have to change trains at Munich Hbf or Munich-Pasing.

This trip is covered by a Bayern Ticket. EUR 29 for 2-5 persons. Can be bought on spot.

DB timetable

Start: MUC

Destination: Füssen

Note that the DB timetable gives by default the fastest connections with the tightest possible transfers. You can take any earlier S-Bahn from Munich Airport (MUC). There is one approx. every 10 minutes.

2. No.

Direct route is blocked by plenty of mountains.

VVT tariff applies. You can buy the tickets from the bus driver of the bus from Füssen to Reutte train station.

origin: Füssen Bahnhof

destination: Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof

Single ticket adult is EUR 16,40 (22 zones).

You can buy the same ticket plus Kernzonenzuschlag Innsbruck (core zone surcharge for Innsbruck) which adds EUR 0,90. Than you can travel to any tram or bus stop in Innsbruck.
