Nuremberg stopover

We will be traveling from Berlin to Munich on St. Stephen's/Boxing Day (Dec. 26) by train and were considering a few hour stopover in Nuremberg. I assume most sights would closed, but would it be worth it to see some of the city from the outside, and stretch our legs? It may be fairly cold/snowy that time of year as well, I would guess? -Erin

1. Re: Nuremberg stopover

We had a 2 night stop-over in Nuremberg in very early january - it was cold but no snow. If you can manage more than a few hours you won't regret it - Nuremberg is a lovely city and deserves a couple of days.
