I'm in Munich. Is there a way to get to lake Königssee via train/bus? If I get a Bayern ticket, will I be able to get there without problem?

I would really like to go there.

Train to Berchtesgaden, bus to lake Königssee, boat on lake Königssee.

DB timetable has the schedule for all, even the boats

Start: München Hbf

Destination: Sankt Bartholomä, Schönau a. Königssee

If you want to travel on a Bayern Ticket select as means of transport "only local transport" to be on the safe side. Bayern Ticket covers the regional trains to Berchtesgaden and the buses to the lake. However not the boats on the lake.

The only "problem" with the Bayern Ticket is that it is on workdays only valid past 9am. On Sa or Su or public holidays you can start before 9am. Which is with the given distance a good idea if you want to do this as a day trip.
