1. Re: 19 days and Munich

1. How many days does it realy take to see Munich.

2-3 days.

If you use Munich as a base for day trips, e.g. to Neuschwanstein Castle evtl. more.

2. How about cheap Hotels since am to old for Hostel in Germany.

You are not too old. Independent hostels have no age limit at all. And the official DJH/HI give in Bavaria (not in the rest of Germany) priority to persons younger than 27. But older ones are not generally excluded.

(13 hostels listed, only 2 of them HI ones)

3.Whats the best way to get there train vs plane. I will be coming from Paris or Amsterdam.

No budget airlines on this route. You can check the classical carriers for their offers.

An alternative would be night train. Prices start from EUR 39,00 in a couchette (SparNight).

4.Whats the weather like in March ?

Sometime in March the weather change from Winter to Spring. The question is however if at the beginn of March or the end of March (like this year).

5. Money wise what's Munich like.

One of the more expensive places in Germany. However cheaper than Paris or Amsterdam.
