Hike from Neuschwanstein to Reutte?

I had read someone's trip diary online about how they woke up early in the morning and hiked from their hotel in Reutte and arrived at Neuschwanstein later that day - then took the bus back to Reutte. I am wondering about actually doing the opposite direction. Does anyone know of a map of the trail system (hopefully online) - how long it takes - how steep/difficult of a hike? Or is this even possible?????

There is the Fürstenstraße (Duke's Road) from Hohenschwangau to the train stop Ulrichsbrücke on the Ausserfern Railway (Reutte - Pronten). This was once the access road from the castles at Hohenschwangau to this railway. Today only for pedestrians and cyclists. This is an easy 2 hours hike.

Couldn't find a map, but you can have a look on this one

Fürstenstraße goes along lake Alpsee (here route #4) and continues from there to Pinswang and the Ausserfern railway. Reutte is further up (top of map) in the Lech valley.

How much farther up would you say it would be to keep hiking up to Reutte from that point? And is there a trail from that point on, or are you then following a road to finish up to Reutte?
