There is or used to be a combination ticket for the train and entry to the park. EuropaPark ( www.europapark.de ) is a long ways from Stuttgart. www.bahn.com will give you your travel options, if EuropaPark isn't a destination, then use Rust. Much closer to Stuttgart is Tripsdrill ( www.tripsdrill.de ) at Cleebronn which is Germany's oldest amusement park and for nostalgia still has many of the old rides. It has a lovely setting in the vineyards, and part of the amusement park is a wild animal park with a lovely setting on the forested hillside. The flume ride is the most innovative and fun one that I've been on anywhere. You can reach the park with a local all zone VVS ticket, switching from the S-bahn to a bus at Bietigheim at the end of the S-5 line.

DB timetable

Start: Suttgart Hbf

Destination: Europa-Park, Rust

Destination: Tripsdrill Erlebnispark, Cleebronn

Problem ist that Europa-Park is really far for a day trip. And that the bus from Bietigheim to Tripsdrill seems not to run this time of the year.
