Where can I store my carryon at the train station?

Plan on arriving early by train, seeing the castle and then train to Wurzburg. Do I take a bus to the castle from the train station? Thanks so much.

There are lockers directly on the bridge above the platforms at Heidelberg Hbf (main railway station).

Altstadt (Old Town) Heidelberg

The brown streets are all pedestrain zones.

You could travel by tram (1,4,5R) to Bismarckplatz or by bus (11,33) to Oberer Fauler Pelz and walk up to the cable.

There is also a cable car (Kornmarkt to Schloss) as long as you are able to walk a fe meters uphill it makes no sense (comes also extra).

Or use the S-Bahn to Heidelberg Karlstor

and from there walk the Valerie's Way/ Elisabeth's Way (foot path) up to the castle.

Are you travelling on a rail pass or not?

And from where do you arrive to Heidelberg?
