Hi, was trying to plan a trip to Strasbourg France and want to do some neat little town s in Germany. Don't know what to do... Stay in Strasbourg and do day trips by train? or spend 2 days in different areas. Should I get a car? travel by train? Was thinking 2 days in 3 areas, but don't know where to go. Looking at the end of July. any help or info would be appreicated... Just want to visit quaint little towns w/ history. thank you in advance.

You could visit Gengenbach and the Black Forest Open Air Museum Vogtsbauernhof.

For this you can use an Europass 24 h EUR 7,20 or an Europass Family 24 h EUR 10,30 (2 adults and 0-2 children up to 12 years). These tickets are 24 h local public transport tickets covering the CUS (Strasbourg) and the TGO (Ortenau district).

Gengenbach can be reached by train. Vogtsbauernhof by bus or foot from Hausach station.
