Accommodation help please

Our first time in Provence and will be spending 3 nights in St Remy. Please any recommendation for accommodation. There are 2 of us and budget is up to 135 euro per night. Do we get better value in b&b or hotel. We do have a car. thanks

we have decided to visit Provence and staying 3 nights in the Luberon and 3 nights at St Remy de Provence based on recommendations. After that 4 nights in Paris via fast train from Avignon. We like walking and using these areas as bases. Please advise of any improvements. Travelling early October.

St Remy is quite touristy. Although less so in shoulder season October.

You might want to consider one base for a longer time period. With that you could do a vacation rental (apartment, villa, gite). Vacation rentals are typically in 7 day periods (saturday to saturday) but in October, you will find flexibility, That would provide you with far more options in terms of meals, maybe bad weather etc.

L'Isle sur la Sorgue is about halfway between St Remy and the "heart" of the Luberon.....so might be a good option for you.

We stayed at a lovely , small BandB called Mas Bellevue. Gorgeous views, and very friendly owners. Five minute drive to town. We liked it so much 4 years ago we're going back! Very reasonable, 90 euros per night. Highly recommend it! 5stars on Tripadvisor!

We stayed at a place in St. Remy within walking distance of the center of town that had about a dozen spacious and well-furnished apartments around a center yard and convenient parking. They book by the night like a hotel. www.les-sources-saint-remy.com

I've stayed twice at Le Soleil, which is very good and inexpensive though not swanky. I think it's changed management since I was there though.
