The St.Remy market is on Wed......it's wonderful !!

We found it a great spot to tour from...Arles,Nimes,Les Baux,Ille Sur La Sorge (?sp),Rousillon,The Abbey,Avignon,Tarascon.

Without a doubt...put me in St.Remy for a week and I'm a real happy person !!

Restaurants...we ate in town..some near Piazza Republique(main downtown square) and some on the circular road...nothing out of the way.We also enjoyed everything..."mules and frites"(mussels and fries) were always good !!

The closest we got to a grocery store was a small store..more a "7-11"size..bought BBQ chicken, fruit, cheese and veggies.

I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did !!

We liked the Bistrot du Paradou, not far from St-Rémy on the road to Maussane-les-Alpilles. There's one set menu for lunch and another for dinner, and you MUST reserve in advance; locals keep the restaurant full.

Hi U/Hill

Bistro de Paradou is overpriced and a poor recommendation.
