Antibes is pretty small so , unless you are north of the railway line ( best look at the map) , you are never more than 20 minutes walk from one of the beaches. There are 3 supermarkets in the centre of town and a couple of c-stores as well as the famous Provencal Market.

The Old Town is very picturesque ... and very noisy ...with 50 restaurants. The hotels in the Old Town are very basic but convenient - Relais du Postillon, Cameo, Modern, La Place.... Flats for rent in the Old Town will also be in old shuttered buildings and you are right in the heart of things .. but you can forget a car - which you don't need as there are excellent cheap trains and buses to everywhere on the coast..

A bit more luxury - on the edge of the prestigious Cap d'Antibes and very close to the beach -- the Royal, Josse and Mas Djolilba.

A couple of 'aparthotels' - the Resideal ( very small rooms ) is a bit further out (30 mins walk to the beach but its own 2 pools- very rare here ) and the Pierre et Vacance 's Port Prestige very central and right on the yacht port - but some people on this forum think its very expensive.
