Yep beaches in Antibes lovely and sandy. The Old Town Beach (Gravette) is right by the Old Town through the Old Walls, there are no steps just straight onto the beach.

5 mins walk from the old town (or 10 depending where you are in the old town!) is first Ponteil then just passed there is Salis, both are sandy, Ponteil has about 4 steps down to the beach, but there are also ramps that people take the buggys down.

Less than 10 mins on the bus from the Old Town you have Juan le Pins which again is sandy and about 5 steps down to the beach.

On the Cap if you fancied taking the bus is Garoupe which again is sandy and has a large ramp down to the beach.

Have a look at this website to give you an idea, but the photos dont do the beaches justice!
