Hotel Cezanne

We are considering booking at Hotel Cezanne.

Is this hotel close to the train station?

We hope to walk along Cour Mirabeau - - - -

is this closeby too?

There will be 5 in our party, (college age/

parents and 1 grandmother) We are using public transportation, and need something in a close

location. We also considered Hotel Mozart- - -

but wonder if this will be too great a hike

for Grandma.

The Hotel Cezanne's web site is at …federal-hotel.com/page_en_1.html and says that the hotel is "a five minute walk from famous Cours Mirabeau".

The web site also has a map showing that the hotel is about a block from the railway station. See …federal-hotel.com/map_en.htm

Have you not heard of Google?

Le Mozart Hotel is said to be 10 minutes walk from Cours Mirabeau. We found it to be more like 20 minutes but is on the main bus route to Val St Andre.Buses not so frequent late evenings or Sundays but otherwise an excellent service which we made use of every day.Would be a bit too far for Grandma to walk.

See my TA hotel report from June 2008.Has the rail station (non TGV) re-opened yet? It has been closed while we were there and for a long time.

Yes, it is close by. Don't worry, downtown Aix isn't so big. You'll have no problem getting to anywhere downtown or to the train station.

Message me if you have any questions.
