Things to do around Honfleur

We will be using Honfleur as a home base for 3 days in September and are looking for ideas for must see villages and sites in that vicinity. Have already done the D-Day beaches and all other war related attractions. Do not want to travel too far west of Le Havre...Are Cliffs of Etretat worth the drive up the coast? Any other suggestions are welcome. We will be then driving down to Paris so any must sees along that route are welcome as well. (Already did Giverny, Les Andeleys, Reims, Rouen). Thank you!!

Depending on what days you are here, the American Film Festival in Deauvlle is in early Sept (worth going to to see the glitz and glamour in the evening..;check local papers for days when stars are there) the boardwalk in Deauville is nice, yes Etretat is beautiful, Cormeilles (about 45 minutes away max) is charming and is still a r e a l normandy town with normal commerces, lots of brocantes etc, museums in Honfleur...Maison de Satie worth going to, for those who speak a little french, ask to see 'the smallest museum in france' at the pharmacy beginning of rue Haute (place Hamelin) you will not be disappointed (former maison de Alphonse Allais) Naturospace if you have kids is pretty cool.

One simple suggestion is to visit Fecamp just to the east. The distillery where Benedictine is made is here and it is an interesting visit.
