There's the Mercure / ibis in the town center with paying car park.

On the out skirts the Novotel with free parking.

it depends if you want to be able to stroll around the town in the evening or more interested in parking easily.

From th eNovotel you can drive in to town easily but then the driver would have to watch what they drink.

Late answer, but it might be useful for other travellers.

Regarding the nightlife, to have a drink you should go to the Ecuyère street and on the harbor (Quai Vendeuvre street). Lots of good and not too expensive restaurants are located in a place called "le Vaugueux", Vaugueux street.

Ivan Vautier is a 1* Michelin restaurant, which means it's very good. Cheapest menu is 49€, but it's worth it ! it used to be called le Pressoir, same chef, and they renamed the place after him when they rebuilt the whole place to make it a 4* hotel. It is a bit of a walk to the city center, i'd say maybe 30min.
