How Many Days?

Hello!

The Mr. & I are interested in taking a D-Day Tour and seeing the sights of Bayeux. I wavering between 2 and/or 3 nights. Can anyone provide any additional insight?

Many thanks Y'all!

Thanks to everyone who responded.

I've booked our airfare. We will arrive @ LHR on Saturday, June 14th and will depart from LHR on Sunday, June 29th. I'm trying to figure out how to 'package' our trip right now. Originally I wanted an 'open jaw' ticket. Fly into LHR and out of either CDG or ORY, but because I'm using AA Advantage miles the best I could get was a RT from AUS to LHR and vice versa. Now my dilemma is whether to head straight to Paris on arrival and do my Bayeux days on the front side or do London first followed by Paris. I have had a lot of help on the London forum on how to fly to Paris from LHR. Another option was to spend the night and use Eurostar the next day and come back to London at the end. It's also been suggested that I should check on hotel and tour availability for our time in Bayeux before deciding which order to do London and Paris.

Any thoughts from Y'all on where I should put Bayeux in our trip? Should I avoid the weekend?

As always, all replies and advice is welcome and appreciated! :D
