Bayeux France to the metro exit Saint Michel/Notre Dame

What train do I get on in Bayeux to get to the Saint Michel/Notre Dame stop? We will be staying in Bayeux for 5 nights and then on to Paris for 4 nights at the Hospitel Hotel Dieu. Thank you for your help.

Trains from Bayeux go to the Paris Main Station of Gare St Lazare.

You need to find out how to get from Gare St Lazare to the next stop by metro or RER

I think one of these options will work. On one of our trips, we have made a similar connection in reverse.

1) Take the RER E from St. Lazarre to Gare du Nord and the RER B to St. Michel, or

2) Take Metro line 14 from St. Lazarre to Chatelet and the RER B to St. M.

The local experts are probably out for the night, but this will get you started and they can verify in the morning.

If you don't have much luggage, it might be almost as fast to take Metro Line 14 to Châtalet and then walk across the Seine via Île de la Cité.

In the spirit of 'teach a person to fish and you've fed them for a lifetime"... at http://www.ratp.com you'll find an interactive journey planner to find your way from Gare St Lazare to St Michel-Notre Dame. A little experimentation and you'll soon be using it like an expert. There are also many apps available free for iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch and Android to map and plan journeys in Paris.

Just so you know... Gare St Lazare is an SNCF (French National Railways) station while St MIchel-Notre Dame is an RER (Ile de France commuter trains) station.
