Sunday trains to Bayeux

Hello. In looking into trains running from Gare St. Lazare to Bayeux, it appears there's only a 9am and 4pm (then later evening) trains running on Sundays. Is this correct? We'll arrive at CDG on a Sunday morning about 7am and don't believe we'll have time to get from the airport to St. Lazare in time (there are 8 of us). Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

There are also trains to Caen with connecting services on to Bayeux on a Sunday leaving St Lazare at 9.45, 11.45 and 14.45.

If you are just looking for train timetables the German rail site bahn.de is the easiest to use. If you want to see fares and/or book tickets you should use voyages-sncf.com leaving your country selection as France or tgv-europe.com selecting Great Britain as your "home" country. Note that you cannot make bokings more than 90 days ahead of your travel date.

I just checked fares on the SNCF site and on RailEurope. The lowest PREMs fare on SNCF is €15 (~$22) one way with no add-ons. RailEurope wants $53 plus fees for the same trip on the same day.

Before booking go to seat61.com for a "how to" on buying train tickets in Europe.

I find using www.voyages-sncf.com quite easy to use for timetables and not just because of familiarity. Jst remember that Horaires is French for Timetables. Some other aspects of the site are rather clunky and sometimes it goes down. By the way the 11.45 has a reasonable connection time of about a quarter of an hour.

Many thanks to all! At least I have plenty of time to figure all this out before the trip!

You can also go the the sncf site above and choose the UK as your country and get an English website that seems to have all the times. If you pick the US as your country (although you don't say where your're from), you get sent to a site that is more expensive and doesn't have all the times.
