We are traveling from Brugge, Belgium to Lille, France. Is there a train and if so, where do I go to look for information?
I guess I was confused because I think Lille is in France and with the stop called Lille Flanders, it sounds as if Lille is in Belgium. I wanted to know because I have a Eurail ticket that is good in Benelux-France. If I take an IC train, it is covered and I do not have to buy any tickets. Thanks!
Nope, it's definately in France, I took the metro from there today :-)
Yes it may be confusing
"Lille Flanders" is the name for the the older station, mostly regional but also several trains to and from Belgium (Brussels Ghent, Antwerp, Oostend, Charleroi, Liège etc)
"Lille Europe" is indeed morge for TGV Eurostar or Thalys trains.
Note that the north area of Pas de Calais is also considered as the "French Flanders".
