Traveling by train from Paris to Lourdes

How far is Lourdes from Paris? How far is the train station in Lourdes from the Lourdes Sanctuary? What is the round-trip? Thank you.

The journey from Paris Montparnasse Station by TGV train takes approximately 5 hours. It only takes 5 minutes by taxi from the train station in Lourdes to the Sanctuary and the hotels. You can travel from Paris overnight on the sleeper and save a day but of course this takes from approximately 10.30 pm - 7.00 am next morning. They are fairly comfortable sleeper compartments but if you require privacy, which I presume you would, I suggest booking a single or two-berth as most of the carriages are six-berth and they do not contain a wash-basin which the small compartments do.
