Madame Carcass

Someone mentioned dinner at Madame Carcass, but I have not been successful in locating it. Anyone familiar with it? What type of restaurant? Location?

You might be thinking of Auberge de Dame Carcass

It's located in La Cite at 3 Place Chateau

Phone (in France) 04 68 71 23 23 . If you are still in the states you need to key in international code (011) then the France code (33) then the number - It is famous and most likely has a web site

From The Lonely Planet Guide:

Lonely Planet review for Auberge de Dame Carcas

This casual restaurant specialises in suckling pig (spot the model porkers all around) and carries a fine selection of well-priced local wines (including a delightfully smooth house red at €11). The ground floor is cosy and agreeably rustic, and you can see the chefs at work. The larger upstairs room offers more light, and there’s a summer terrace too.

Wow! 3 answers in 10 minutes. THANKS! That is probably the restaurant referred to in the posting. Now that I have the actual name, I can follow up.

I LOVE the Trip Advisor Forum.
