Drinking fountains and lockers?

I'm living in Paris right now and was thinking it would be fun to do a nice, long run throughout the Versailles gardens. In order to do without collapsing somewhere, I will need to get a little water every 3-5 km. Does anyone know if/where there are drinking fountains in Versailles? Also, I would like to stash a few things during my run. Are there lockers anywhere? So basically, all I need is a) water, and b) a place to safely put stuff for a few hours. Any help on those, or additional advice that I didn't even think of, would be greatly appreciated.

outside the most-trafficked areas, no, there are no water fountains, because there is no plumbing in much of the gardens/forest.

There's a luggage check inside -- but I'm not sure they're really set up to take very small items -- nor that you'd be terribly welcome dressed for running and dripping with sweat.
