Palais Garnier Question

Hello.

This could be possibly a silly question so apologies in advance :)

If I do not plan on attending a performance at the Palais Garnier are you still able to visit the Opera house? Are there tours? If so, do you know if you need to purchase tickets in advance or can we just show up?

Thank you!

You can do self guided tour, whenever during the day ($). No auditorium access if there is practice though.

For English guided tours check Opera website.

I always wanted to try these last-minute purchase, but my stays in Paris are too scarce and too short. The last time I attended an opera performance was in Orange Roman Theatre during the "Chorégies" summer festival.Fantastic, provided you bring a cushion.Which I did not. Many people do.

Has anyone ever tried the last minute standing tickets for 5 Euro? Or the returns?

Hi, we are visiting in August and thinking of the Viator guided tour which costs approx. 12 euros, this may give more insight into the Op house than doing it solo, only a suggestion, regards Hol
