Hi. Could you please tell me the results of your research? We are planning to rent an apt in Paris in March and we have questions about the dependability of the vendors there. Is it better to rent from a Paris based company or does it matter? How did you find the condition of the apartment? Were there things you would have done differently or questions that you now wished you had asked? I guess I should ask if you have gone yet. Thanks for your time. Howard Smith.

two more websites: barclayweb.com and citadines.com. citadines is run a lot like a hotel, and they don't take a nonrefundable deposit more than a couple days ahead of your arrival. You also can do directly to the apt on arrival, don't have to go to any agency to pick up the key first.

Hi eieio!

I went to a ton of websites and decided to rent with perfectlyparis.com.

I found them through Rentalo.com. You put in what you want and how much you want to pay and the rental agencies/owners will contact you and offer you deals. I got a place that was regular 90E for 50E a night. I haven't been there yet, I will let you know how it goes.

On this site, on top of the first service listed above, you can check out hundreds of apartments as well. Remember, you can always bargain the price. Well...maybe not always. I was able to on a couple of occasions.
