Paris travel

Hi guys

Travelling to paris with my wife as a surprise get a way from the UK to paris for 3 nights in feb. Staying at the courtyard paris boulogne which is close by to metro boulogne jean jaures...wondering what's best way to travel around paris to the attraction sites?? Metro bus rer etc? Also worthwhile getting a 3 day pass or "carnet" of tickets? Could you use same tickets on metro and bus? Thanks in advance!

Luckily you are relatively close to a métro station. I would simply purchase groups of 10, as needed, tickets t+ at a cost of 13.70€. These tickets are single ride tickets and each group of ten tickets may be shared between you and your wife.

Your hotel is outside peripheric ring road, but you're good to travel on metro using regular t+ tickets.

The best bet for a short visit is a carnet (or two) of 10 single tickets at discounted price - you can share them. They can be used for metro or bus, but RER inside zone 1 only. If you travel on metro the ticket is valid for transfer to another line, no longer than 90 min. and if you stay within transit system.
