Fontaines du Luxembourg vs. La Perle

Bonjour! They are relativly the same price. We like the look of the rooms better at Fontaines du Lux but the location appears to be better at Le Perle. Additionally the Metro is much closer to Le Perle than Fontaines du Lux. Opionons and other recomendations appreciated

Our Criteria:

Budget: Double room for $150 to $200 per night. (the lower the better)

No smoking, No Pets, Safe in room, Free Wifi, Want to be in the 6th, 5th, or 4th (in that order of preference).

This is our 10th annivarsary trip.

Merci!!!

If you'd put active links to the said properties, it would be easier to have a look and give an opinion because these names 'Fontaines du Lux' and 'La Perle' are only commercial or fantasy names given by an agency (or, at least, give a link to the website of the agency where these apartments could be found).

If you like their Baroque decor, hotel Fontaines du Luxembourg has been recently entirely renovated and their rooms seem a tad bigger and in a better condition than in hotel La Perle. It is very close to Boulevard St Michel, almost opposite the Sorbonne. Rue des Cannettes, where hotel La Perle is located, is a narrow street in St Germain with several bars and restaurants and there's quite a lot of nightlife and noise. The rooms have no particular character and seem a bit old. Personnally (but this is really personal) I would prefer the Fontaines du Luxembourg, but I haven't looked closely at the rates.
